Sometimes I wonder why I even bother to go to the doctor when I have a problem! My appointment was at 4:05 yesterday afternoon. 45 minutes later, they finally called me back to the room. Then another 45 minutes later, I finally got to see the doctor and by then he was ready to go home, so he rushed me out of there. I gave him a list of 5 things that I wanted to talk to him about, and he only addressed 2 of them before rushing me out the door. UGH! I was absolutely livid. To make matters even worse, while I was wiating to see the doctor, one of the ladies that does their billing called me back and asked if I knew I had a balance due. I told her that I can't pay a bill that I don't get a statement for and that I really didn't appreciate being called back there before I talked to the doctor...what? were they going to make me pay it before seeing the doctor?!? Sheesh! I told her that I really didn't appreciate being hounded for money that my insurance company should be paying and that they certainly had no business hounding me for money that they hadn't even billed me for.
After all the waiting, I got all of five minutes with the doctor and I'll probably be charged well over $100. He refuses to do a hysterectomy because he thinks I am too young. Instead, he continues to put me on different medications to try to stop my symptoms. I would rather have the surgery done, fix the problem, and be done with it rather than keep taking all this medicine. He did give me some medication to take for my migraines, which I am very thankful for. The headaches are getting out of hand. I guess now I will need to find another doctor and see what he says. Oh well!
On a lighter note, because I know that you don't come here to listen to me bicker (and I certainly don't want you leaving feeling down), I took my 4-year-old to day care this morning, walked him in, kissed him bye, and the crying began. I asked him what was wrong and he said that he looked bad and needed to go home and change!!! 4 years old!! He said he didn't like the way his jeans looked...now how funny is that!?!? Austin (big brother) tried to tell him that they were "cool" jeans because they are Old Navy, but that didn't seem to help any. I can't believe he is 4 years old and worrying about how he looks in his jeans! Kids! Aren't they great!?!?!?
