UGH!!

I am not having much luck with this domain thing. None of my sub-domains are working and I am getting really frustrated. I am sorry that you all have not been able to visit lately. I have had a lot going on and need to update you all! :)

I started that new job and it turned out to be awful...absolutely terrible. The lady that was my boss was mean and was seriously into micro-management. I refuse to go to a job that I hate every day of my life, so I quit! I am now working at the police department in Alma as a dispatcher and I love it! It's the department that my husband used to work for as an officer, so I pretty much know everyone and it is absolutely great! I love it! I know a little bit about dispatching because I used to do it a every now and then when I was workign on the ambulance. It's fun! :)

I am recovering well from the accident and I should be getting my car fixed soon. I will be ready to get that out of the way. The insurance company is working with us and they have really surprised us with how willing they are to accomodate us. It's nice to know...

Both of the boys are playing ball now. Austin is on two different teams and Tanner has started his first season of T-ball. He is so excited he can hardly stand it. We are going to have one busy summer!! But I will love every minute of it. :)

Graduation!! Woo hoo! It's coming up in two weeks. I will be walking in graduation on May 10th and I can hardly stand myself. I have worked so hard for this and I am looking forward to walking across that stage! :) :) :)

Well, it's getting late, so I better get off here. We have been at the ball fields all day and I am tired. Both of the boys are gone tonight, so maybe Chad and I will be able to sleep in tomorrow morning...that'll be a change! Anyway...I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Good Saturday morning!

I'm sorry for not blogging this week. It's been a busy week for us and then on Thursday morning, I had a car accident. I was on my way to work Thursday morning, and was stopped waiting for a school bus. The next thing I knew I was being slammed from behind. The lady behind me (who happens to be a friend of mine) was rear-ended by another woman. The one who caused the accident has a totaled vehicle, and Peggy's Durango (the one who hit me) has quite a bit of damage. My car has minimal damage...can't tell I've even had an accident. There is only about $1,500 worth of damage to my car (the trunk lid is warped), but I feel as though I've been beat up. I have extreme pain in my neck and back. I went to the doctor after the accident and she told me to stay home from work until Monday because of the whiplash and the fact that I work on a computer all day. I'm okay, just tired from the muscle relaxers I'm taking. At any rate, I am okay. I hated to miss work after only working there for a week, but I didn't want to complicate matters.

We are leaving to go to Conway today to spend Easter with my family. My boys are already there...they have been there since Thursday and they are having a great time! I hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

I promise to blog more often...like I used to! Lotsa hugs...

9. Which form of fake money do you like better...Monopoly money or those chocolate coins covered with gold foil?

10. Thought-provoking question of the week: You find a wallet containing $5,000 in cash, as well as several credit cards and the owner's drivers' license. Your rent is due tomorrow and you're short $200. Do you take the money (some or all of it) and mail back the wallet anonymously...or do you return the wallet with all contents intact?
I would definitely return the wallet with all of its contents.

Have a great day!

Hello all!

I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately. The new job is really keeping me busy and I don't have much Internet time (other than for work purposes) at work. Baseball season is in full swing too, so that is taking up a lot of our time as well. I hope that you are all doing great, and I promise as soon as things settle down I will get back to blogging regularly.

Have a great week and take care! :o)

Woo hoo!!!!

I am no longer unemployed! How about that?!? I am so excited I can hardly stand myself! LOL :o)

Starting Thursday morning, I will be working at Lois Law. I interviewed at 10:00 and didn't finish until almost 12:00. They called me 2:00 and offered me the job. I am so very excited! I am convinced that this job was meant for me! My title is actually going to be "Source Acquisition Specialist" and I will be working closely with the attorney's that work there. I want to thank all of you for the good luck wishes and prayers. I truly appreciate it. I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow. :o)

Boy, it's late!!!

But, I just had to share the news...I have a job interview in the morning at 10:00!!! Woooooo Hoooooo!!! I wanted to let you all know in case I didn't have time to post about it in the morning. Keep your fingers crossed for me and wish me luck! I'm really excited! Have a great Tuesday morning. I will be back in the afternoon to tell you how it went!

Good Monday morning!

I hope you all had a great weekend! We are all very exhausted from tournament Austin had over the weekend. In fact, I think Austin is so tired it has made him sick. He is at home with me. He and his dad left for work/school earlier and came back. Austin said he felt as though he was going to throw up, so Chad brought him home. He is now in bed sleeping. Bless his heart. He's probably just worn out.

Well, it turns out my sister didn't get the job she was wanting. :o( So, I guess she will start looking again today. I am sure she will find something soon. There were a lot of jobs in the paper yesterday, so she is going to start mailing out some resumes!

I've got to fix me some coffee so I better get off here. I hope you all have a great day today! :o)

Good morning!

I hope you are all doing well. Sorry about not posting yesterday...I spent the day with my sister and it was nice. She will find out today at 6:00 if she's got the job that she interviewed for. Keep your fingers crossed!! I am still hanging in there. I am enjoying the time home with the boys, but I really need to go back to work. I expect that some of the people I have contacted will start calling to schedule interiviews soon.

Austin has a baseball tournament this weekend, so we are certainly looking forward to that. (I just hope we don't have to sit in the rain the whole weekend...it's supposed to rain.) I have to take my C.A.A.P. exam tomorrow, so wish me luck. It's a huge exam and I have to take it because I am a junior in college now. Some of you may have heard of it...it's also called the "Rising Junior" exam. It's a test to analyze what students are actually learning in college. It will probably cover everything that I have already taken in school. Should be fun...NOT! LOL :o)

Here's my Friday Five:

1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?
There are too many to count! I can't imagine counting all the houses/apartments I have lived in throughout my life. We always moved a lot. I would have to say at least 30.

2. Which was your favorite and why?
My first favorite would be the one I am living in now because my husband and I built it (not literally, but we picked everything out). We put a lot of time into picking things out and arranging the perfect floor plan. It's a beautiful home and I am very proud to own it. My second favorite would have to be my great grandmother's house. I lived there off and on as a child and I loved it! It's old and cluttered, but it's the best. She has a bay window that I used to sleep in when I was little. It was the best place to sleep in the house in the summer time because it was cooler. The house had no air conditioning, so the bay window was perfect!

3. Do you find moving houses more exciting or stressful? Why?
I don't really think it is stressful, it's just hard work. Moving is exciting! I loved moving into this house because I knew I would be here for a long time and wouldn't have to move for many, many, many years! :o) LOL

4. What's more important, location or price?
Location, location, location! Definitely! I live in the middle of 70 acres and it is absolutely beautiful.

5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?
I have a big yard, I have a jacuzzi tub, will have a pool when I graduate with my Bachelor's (a gift to myself!)....I guess you could say that I am living in my dream house!

Have a super weekend!

Well hello there!

I guess today was a fairly uneventful day for me. Tanner and I went to have lunch with my good friend Robin. Today was her birthday, so it was nice to get to visit with her for a while. I hadn't seen her in weeks! Then we went to get the tags renewed on my husband's old Chevy pick-up. We walked in and there was not an empty seat in the place. I hate going to the DFA, much less having to sit and wait on 50 people...it always seems to take forever in that place, even with just a few people in there! UGH!! Then I went by to tan and headed to pick Austin up from school. I came home and studied for a bit and headed off to take my Biological Science test. Yuck! It went okay I guess...thanks to everyone for their good luck wishes. I need all the help I can get!! :o) I also wanted to thank all of you for your prayers for my sister. She is really having a hard time right now. I just wish there was more I could do for her.

I think I am starting to get bored. Sure, being unemployed has many perks but I am ready to go back to work!!! I certainly admire all you SAHM's out there!! I guess if I had done this from the beginning, it would be easier for me. My career-mindedness has got me itching to go back to work. Does that make me a bad mother? Gosh, I sure hope not. :o) I have always worked. I guess I have worked since I was about 15 years old. I can remember my Mom having to take me to work because I was not old enough to drive. That's a long time to be working! LOL

Anyway...enough rambling for tonight. Have a great day tomorrow and I'll see you all tomorrow night! :o)
