I have added some new blinkies to my blinky page...I have noticed more and more the 'support' blinkies coming about. It saddens me to know that people can just take someone's graphics and do what they wish with them. I am very careful to give credit where credit is due...if anyone should ever find where I have missed giving credit or the link is wrong, I want you to tell me! I have a lost a blogging buddy because of all this mess....it's not that hard to give credit! Anyway...just venting because it upsets me that these ladies work so hard on their stuff to make it available to us and then some freak has to go and ruin it!
Today is a good day! I was asleep by 9:30 last night (on my couch), and I feel completely rested and ready to face the world today! I am really looking forward to taking the boys trick-or-treating tonight...almost as much as they are looking forward to going! I don't have much time to write this morning because it is the end of the month and I need to get some end-of-the-month stuff done. But, I will be back later! Have a spooktacular day! =)
Thanks to Faith for the cute little Halloween Blinkie!

It's a new day today...and I'm just glad to be here! Things are starting to settle down here at work with the whole DOT audit and they will be coming back to re-audit us next week. I think that we will be okay.
My boys are really looking forward to trick-or-treating tomorrow night. I am going to have to leave class early so that I can take them. Our city is putting on a carnival for all the children, so I think we will go by and do that after we do a little trick-or-treating. It is supposed to be cold here tomorrow night, so I doubt we will be out long. The weather has been terrible here. I don't think we've seen the sun in over a week. It's been cloudy and rainy and just plain yucky for several days now. I am ready to see some sun!!!! =)
Back to work...I hope you all have a radiant day and thanks for stopping by! =)

I had to go to campus yesterday afternoon to do my group discussion on the death penalty for terrorists for speech class. It went quite well, to my surprise. I was very nervous about it because it was supposed to be hypothetical to where we all agreed on the death penalty (that's what our instructor wanted), but we had one guy that just didn't believe in the death penalty. We had to convince him that it was just for show and that we weren't trying to convince him to actually change his beliefs. We got a 70 out of 75, which is an A. I would have liked to have made a 75/75 on it, being the perfectionist that I am, but an A is an A I guess!
Back to work for me...I've been here 30 minutes already and haven't gotten a darn thing accomplished! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful day! =)

1. What is your favorite scary movie? Hannibal
2. What is your favorite Halloween treat? Those little chewy candies that come in the orange or black wrappers and have peanut butter in the middle. So good! =)
3. Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, describe your best Halloween costume. I don't dress up anymore...I used to. I guess my best past Hallween costume would be when I dressed up as a witch. Sounds original, I know, but it was a really good costume...green face and all!
4. Do you enjoy going to haunted houses or other spooky events? Yeppers! Love 'em!!
5. Will you dress up for Halloween this year? Probably not...I have class on Halloween and will have to rush home to take the boys trick-or-treating.
Have a super day! =)

Work was okay yesterday...this whole DOT thing is really keeping us busy! After work, my sister and I had to make a couple of hospital rounds. She and I work together, and we have a couple of co-workers that are in the hospital, so we went to see them last night. It's nice to see them cheer up a little when you walk into the room. I think they both really appreciated seeing us...it was nice to visit as well.
After we did that, we went to do a little shopping...of course that is always fun! I got a really cute skirt and a shirt to match. We went to Kohl's and they were having this huge sale yesterday...woo hoo! =) I got my hubby a nice shirt too. Then we headed to Olive Garden and had salad and bread sticks...I could live on their salad! It's the best darn stuff! =)

Whew! What a couple of days this has been! I'm sorry I missed my blog entry yesterday, but I just couldn't get by here. It was a mad house here at the office yesterday. Working for a trucking company can be so stressful at times. Especially when the DOT comes to audit you! We've recently been audited and it's killing us to try to get ourselves back into compliance before they come back. Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork! It just doesn't end! But, that's what it is all about. Job security, I guess!
On a lighter note, things have been busy as usual. I am so ready for Christmas break! This semester has been unusually tough for me. I'm not sure why...maybe it's because the College Algegra is so much harder and I hate math...could it be?!? =)
The weather is beautiful here today...67 degrees outside and the sun is shining. I absolutely love this time of year. Fall is always so beautiful. My kids are too fond of it getting dark so early, but some day they'll appreciate it! (try telling them that...LOL)
(((hugs))) to you all! Have a radiant day! =)

What a busy weekend that was! I absolutely had to go get the boys some jeans to wear. The weather is cooling off a bit and they have just grown so much since last year. Austin is at a weird size. He needs a size 10 for the waist and a size 8 for the length...I guess it is just a phase, but boy is it hard to buy clothes for him! We had a good time shopping. I went with my sister, my friends Robin & Staci, and Tanner (my youngest). We went to Old Navy and then took the kids to the "Big McDonalds" (as they call it) so they could play for a bit. I also finished cleaning out my garage Saturday! I have lived in my new house for over seven months now and I parked my car in the garage for the very first time last night! How crazy is that?!? It was nice to leave this morning without having to deal with the dew all over my car! =)
After that, I had to be at the Library on campus for a meeting with the people that are in my group for the group discussion project we have to do for my Speech class. It's really going to be rather interesting I think. The topic that we were assigned is the death penalty for terrorists (that have caused harm to humans). We are going to discuss the issue as though we were a jury sitting on a trial for a terrorist (such as Oklahoma City, New York, or USS Cole). I think it will be fun to see how it goes, yet it will be interesting and I am sure we will learn a lot.
Yesterday, I scrapbooked with my friend Robin all day! It was a blast. I have gotten so far behind on my scrapbooking, it's unreal. Her husband fixed dinner for us and it was delicious! He makes the best chicken!
Hubby had to work all night last night, so he's home sleeping...without me! =( I hate it when he has to do that...he was up all day and had to work all night. I can only imagine how exhausting that must be.
Well, back to work for me! Have a grand day! =)

Friday Five
1. How many TVs do you have in your home? Five! (Living room, kitchen, my bedroom, each of the boys' rooms)
2. On average, how much TV do you watch in a week? Thursday nights...Friends, Will & Grace, ER. So, I guess about 2 hours.
3. Do you feel that television is bad for young children? Not if we supervise what they are watching.
4. What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you're heartbroken? I don't suppose I HAVE to watch any and I'm not heartbroken if I miss my shows on Thursdays. But I do enjoy watching them and I try to clear my calendar for them (homework, etc.)
5. If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like? It would certainly have lots of ER, Friends, and Will & Grace! I would also make sure it had plenty of children's shows so that I could enjoy watching television with my children.

Well, I had a good day yesterday! Work went smoothly and I didn't have class. It was nice to go home and relax with my family...of course there is never a dulll moment in our household! My inlaws came over last night and visited for a little bit. My Father-in-law is a pharmacist and he brought over some medicine for Tanner...I think he may be coming down with a cold. Hopefully the meds will prevent it from getting too bad.
My sister sold her truck last week. She has had it since she was 16 and she is almost 26. We thought she was going to cry when she handed over the keys. But, I took her to pick up her new car yesterday and I think that has passed! She was hanging her head out the window shouting "I'm going to get a new car!" (a little insane, huh?!?!?!) She was so excited!! She bought the car all on her own. It's the first time she's done anything like that by herself. Dad has always bought her vehicles and paid her insurance, so I guess she is growing up a little. She needed to do something for herself to take her mind of the cancellation of the wedding and all that has been going on.
It's back to work for me. Have a radiant day! =)

I am so glad to be done with yesterday! I feel so much better today. I got completely caught up on all my assignments last night, except for one and I am going to do it tonight. I was up late, but it sure felt good to get it all done. =)
My youngest son, Tanner (4 years old) is learning bible verses for his Awanas class in church and he is loving it! My sister took him to church the other night and she told me that on they way home she told him to be sure and have me help him memorize the verses. He told her that I have too much homework and that Dad would have to help :o( But, she told him that it was very important for Mom to have study time. This is the funny part------->he said that it was okay because when I get out of school I would be making more money and he would get more toys!!! Now, is that putting it into perspective for a four-year-old or what?!? I thought that was so sweet!
Austin, my oldest has decided that he is not too old, nor is he too cool, to go trick-or-treating! I guess we will be on the search for the perfect costume for him now. He is such a mess. I'm glad that he has decided to go...I think he would have regretted not going.
My husband has to be the best there is! I got home from class last night and every stitch of laundry was done, the house had been picked up and vacuumed, and dinner was on the table! Now, how sweet is that?!? He is so good to do things like that since I have been back in school (maybe, partly because he figured out it wasn't getting done =) LOL)
(((Hugs))) to you all! Have a marvelous Wednesday. =)

My goodness! Has everyone quit blogging?!? I have had two people on my reads shut their blogs down and it seems that no one is posting much the last couple of days. I hope everyone is okay... =)
I have been SO busy. I was supposed to start another four-week class this weekend, but I think I am going to drop it. I already have 12 hours (4 classes) for this semester and I am afraid if I add any more to my plate that it will just be too much. At any rate, I will still graduate in May...the class that I may drop doesn't count towards my Associate's degree, but to my Bachelor's. It would just be really nice to get those extra hours in.
I wish that I could just sit back and take a deep breath and make all this stress go away. I feel like I am spread so thin these days! Oh well...life must go on. Thanks for listening and have a super day! =)

Monday! Do we have to have them!?!? I had a good weekend...thanks to everyone for stopping by. I just couldn't find the time to post this weekend. My hubby was out of town all weekend, so keeping the kids entertained was all mine this weekend. We had so much fun! Friday night, I took the boys to our hometown football game. It was homecoming. You know when I was in school, if we had worn dresses that revealed as much as those girls' dresses did Friday night, we would have been kicked out of school! I could not believe it! I mean, the girls all looked beautiful, but the dresses were so...well...lacking of material! =) Some poor kid from the opposing team got knocked out cold. They had to use smelling salt to wake him up. Turns out he just got the breath knocked out of him. I'm thankful for that.
Saturday night, a bunch of my girlfriends came over and we scrapped until 3:30 a.m. We had a blast! I didn't get many pages done, but I did get some finished, which is always nice.
Sunday, I played basketball with the boys and it was so refreshing. The weather here is beautiful. It was in the high 60's yesterday so it was really nice out.
It sure is cool here this morning...a crisp 37 degrees when I left for work. I just love fall! My husband takes me to White Rock each year around my birthday so that we can look at all the beautiful fall foilage. It should be really beautiful this year with all the rain we've had lately. Can't wait for that!
Well...have a great day! I'll be visiting my reads later. =)

What a night I had last night! We had a "middle-of-the-week girls night out"!!! My sister, 3 of my good friends, and I went to a little pizza pub for dinner and then we went to the movies. We went to see Sweet Home Alabama and it was great! We laughed at dinner, we laughed in the car, we laughed in the lobby of the theatre....it was so much fun! When we got there, no one was at the front window for us to buy our ticket from...so, being the shy person that I am, I knocked on the window! =) The guy stuck his head around the corner and waved to us to come in. When we got in, I was giving him a hard time about not having anyone working the window...he informed me that there was a sign out there that instructed us to come in for tickets. As if I saw it between all the talking and laughing and goofing off! LOL We had the poor guy working the snack counter so flustered that he forgot to charge my sister for her popcorn and coke!!! LOL I know those poor people that were in the theatre thought we were all insane...but, we had a good time. I think we should do it more often!
Tonight is homecoming in our hometown so the boys and I will be going to that. It should be fun...we are having some dreary weather today, but it is supposed to clear up later...should be some good football weather tonight! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

Have a great day and I'll be back later.

Today is a yucky, rainy day. It would have been a good day to stay home and cuddle up with a good book! What a day yesterday was! It was so busy here at the office. My boss told me yesterday that he wants me to start sitting with some of our Fleet Managers and Load Coordinators so that I can learn how they do what they do. I think that I am going to be up for a promotion after the first of the year! Woo hoo!!! I will be graduating in May, so he is getting me ready, I guess!
I had Algebra class last night...okay I guess. I will be so glad when this semester is over. NO MORE ALGEBRA!!!! I went home after class and was going to work on some school work and I came down with a terrible migraine. So, since I went to see that wonderful (NOT) doctor a couple of weeks ago I had some good medicine I could take! That was the first time I've had to take it...which is a good thing. I tell you what...that medicine threw me for a loop!!! Before it actually made me sleepy, it made me goofy! My husband was so laughing at me...I was trying so hard to stay awake to watch NYPD Blue, but I just couldn't do it. But you know, I feel fully rested this morning. Usually after I have those migraines I will wake up feeling terrible...my teeth hurt, my neck hurts...but not today! I am ready to face the world! LOL
Anyway...I hope you all have a great day! =) Don't forget to send me your birthday by clicking on the .:Click Me:. button on the main frame of the blog. I would love to be able to wish you all a happy day on your birthday!

I got this great idea from Melissa::Thanks Melissa:: I have added a button to the main frame of my blog (underneath all the links). It says .:Click Here:. When the window pops up it explains to you what I am asking. I would love for all who visit my blog often to please send me an e-mail with their birthday...you don't have to include the year if you don't want to. But, I would like to be able to send you something on your special day if you would take the time to drop me an e-mail with your birthday. I'll be back later to write more...have a radiant day! =)
